Wander Beyond Ordinary

Pagi, have a great day!
Nice to see this Gojek rider getting around!
Came across another interesting store this morning - Republic of Soap. Obviously they sell soaps, however they also stock a great range of washes, shampoos, candles and accessories. They also can help you create your own perfume - roughly Rp270,000 for 35mls. Quality is a lot better than the perfume shops I used to make an effort to buy from in Kuta.

Republic of Soap is located on Jl Petitenget just near the intersection of Jl Taman Ganesha. Put it on your list!
Some random beach scenes this afternoon in the thick of things at Legian.
Tonight is Tilem, the sacred Balinese new moon, marking the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Tilem ceremonies involve heartfelt prayers, purification rituals such as melukat, and offerings to ancestors and deities to cleanse the self and ward off negative energy.

It is considered a time to purify the inner self, eliminating impurities and seeking spiritual protection. The darkness of the new moon is seen as a powerful moment to release what no longer serves you and welcome fresh beginnings with clarity, gratitude, and intention.
Great coffee find this morning- Tanamera at Jl Petitenget 237.
Nice time for a fish as another Bali sunset descends.
I was wrong - moved from Rp10,200 to Rp10,500 for A$1 today
Top spot for breakfast - Ely's Kitchen, which is located on the quieter eastern side of Jl Raya Kerobokan, just a short scooter ride or taxi from Seminyak, very friendly staff, enticing menu and plenty of space.
Pretty consistent rates across the money changers..... be aware, rates will generally pick up a little after 11am on Monday - my best guess is the AUD rate will go from 10,200 to 10,375.
A Nusa Dua beach day today - first few shots are at Geger Beach which is adjacent to The Mulia, and the others are at Pantai Mengiat just neat Ayodya Resort.

There are more facilities at Mengiat, however the beach is not as good as Geger at low tide.
Cute little Bali mutts at the beach today.... didn't realise they had been sleeping under the sunlounge until I was leaving!
